Features for the DR Power CS35050BEN Wood Chipper

Serrated Shredding Hammers

The serrated shredding hammers use their jagged edges to pulverize materials fed into the shredder hopper and reduce it by 20:1. The result is a fine “pre-composted” mulch that can enrich your garden soil. Hammers are reversible and can also be rehung from the opposite hole to provide fresh surfaces for chewing up materials up to 1.5” in diameter.

Shark-Teeth™ Shearing Fins

These fins (10) create channels in the bottom of the shredding chamber for the serrated hammers to swing through. They provide additional sharp surfaces to help tear apart yard and garden waste, including the fibrous green branches (up to 1.5” in diameter) that will jam up underpowered machines.

Self-Feeding Action

A large vertically oriented hopper, a precisely angled heavy-duty chipping knife, and a powerful air channel work together to pull branches into the chipping hopper and blast wood chips out the discharge. Most materials will self-feed, so once you drop a branch in your free to get the next one. No force feeding required!

Oversized Hoppers

The shredder hopper opening is 19" x 17", big enough to accept multiple stalks up to 1.5" thick along with side branches and leaves. The chipper opening (8" x 14") accepts branches up to 5" in diameter.

TOW IT WHEREVER THE WORK IS!

The PRO XL501 comes standard with a pin hitch for use with ATV, UTV or lawn tractor. With the addition of our optional road towing kit, you can take the PRO XL501 on public roads at speeds up to 45mph.

The PRO XL501 Chipper Shredders uses a durable 13.5 HP (420cc) Overhead Valve engine with electric start. It features a debris management system that protects the engine from whatever you kick up while you're chipping and shredding.
